Tonight was an amazing party compared to those we have witnessed lately. Props were VERY amazing and took a lot of time, you can tell. I got to see a punk show in the basement for a while in the beginning which was cool too (although nothing to do with DTS). They had fans, which REALLY made the nile a lot less heated. Oh yeah and the talent..
Lois Layne gets sooo much props from me.. she spins the upbeat funky disco house that makes your body move.. she is an asset to DTS..
Hadji and Nu Theory were flawless.. they melted together their styles so perfectly... seemed like they practiced all night before going on cause they had it down to the beat from the second the neddle hit the first vinyl..
Daisy and Nth, off the wall.. they had the full house of the nile bumping to their sounds, hands in the air. Finished it with a track that Paul and Substation composed, which is sure to be a hit on the circuit.
Skwert had the back room bouncing with his style that can only fall under the category of mixtnuts. i love to see this kid and his raw agression on the decks.
ariel as always made the basement of this place shake with deep hard drum and bass. his mc worked the crowd, and they were drenched in their own sweat, but i dont think you could hear a complaint in the place for his set.
gemini dropped the mixtnuts style that we have all come to love and had the back room dancing hard everytime i went back there.
reflection had a great set just as he did friday night. I loved his track selection and look forward to seeing more of this TeknoSlut out and behind the decks, although i could of done without Alice Deejay
;-)
nimh with some happy hardcore for you happy hippies in the crowd. as always his set was welcomed, along with his new hairstyle, even though michael didnt find him attractive enough for a kiss... shame shame..
and michael, worked the crowd, made them scream his name... damn he is a superstar.. and the big red cowboy hat... can we say sexy? oh yeah he spun some good music too, but i didnt need to tell you that..
and that is all i had the chance of cathing.. i know i missed Tinrib and Citrik and Miss Jag (although i met her and she is a cool chick) and Emile and so many others, but I had some priorities I needed to take care of for the night.
Thank You DTS for wonderful night, a beautiful night is more like it.. and Happy Birthday Paul - glad you liked the card..
